Many visitors ask how to create a butterfly garden at home. The Conservatory's information sheet recommends nectar host plants include: Mexican flame vine, Jatropha, ageratum, white coral verbena, milkweed, butterfly bush, fire bush, porter weed, pentas, and fire bush. For reproduction, host plants suggested are false nettle, willow, milkweed, water hyssop, senna, wild cherry, wild carrot, parsley, dill, avocado, pipe vine, passion vine, green shrimp plant, citrus, sweet bay, and camphor. And who would know more about gardens and plants that the horticulturists at Cypress Gardens?
